p.s.
I completely forgot to update about ShayShay’s graduation.
So Saturday started off noraml enough, but little did I know what I had in store. Dee and I arrived at The Fours to set up for my aunt Judi’s suprise 60th birthday party. After we were finished, we took a rest on a couch, only to overhear my mother and aunts discussing menopause and the various, disgusting affects it has on a woman’s body. Then ShayShay and the rest of the family arrived. Soon, my aunt Judi came in began crying at the sight of all her loved ones. It was great. Later in the evening, the three of us were appauled at my eighteen year old cousin openly doing dip and drinking beer in front of the entire family. I took care of the beer part by letting the bartended know my little cuz is 3 years under the legal age limit. There were other ridiculous sights during the night (such as 40 year old strangers acting like they were 20 and dancing disgustingly) but I won’t go into detail.
The next day was Shay’s graduation, which she woke me up at 7:30 am for, even though it didn’t start until 2. I made sure to take plenty of photos to commemorate the day. The ceremony was nice and short, but I got a sunburn from sitting on the damn bleachers.
The afterparty was nice, albeit, slightly awkward with all the people I hardly know. But altogether, the day was a pleasant experience.
